Hi, I’m Kayla!

I'm so happy you're here! I'm Kayla, the photographer behind Backwoods Photography. I'm from Heath, Ohio, a mom to two amazing kids (14 and 9), dog mom, adventure lover, and owner of Honey Hue Salon.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me traveling, camping, hiking, exploring somewhere new, or making an unnecessary Target run with a coffee in hand.

I've been photographing weddings, families, couples, and milestones since 2012, and I truly believe the best photos come from real moments. My goal is to make your session fun, relaxed, and full of genuine memories you'll love looking back on for years to come. I can't wait to tell your story!
